What is CosmosCost?

CosmosCost is a multi-cloud cost management platform that aggregates and visualizes spending from AWS, GCP, and Azure in a unified dashboard.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, and follow SOC 2 Type II compliance standards.

Pricing & Plans

What plans are available?

We offer three plans:

Free: $0/month - 1 user, 1 AWS account
Business: $49/month - 5 users, all providers
Business+: $99/month - Unlimited users, advanced features

Is there a free trial?

Yes! Business and Business+ plans include a 14-day free trial with full access.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, cancel anytime. No long-term contracts required.

Cloud Integration

Do you store my AWS credentials?

No. AWS integration uses OIDC (OpenID Connect) for credential-free authentication. No AWS keys are ever stored.

How long does initial sync take?

First sync takes 24-48 hours to import historical data (up to 24 months). Subsequent syncs are much faster.

How often does data sync?

Why is my cost data delayed?

Cloud providers have inherent delays (24-72 hours). Current-day costs are estimates until finalized by the provider.

Features

Can I create custom dashboards?

Yes! All plans support custom dashboards with multiple sections and customizable views.

Can I export data?

Yes. Export reports as CSV, PDF, or Excel (Business and Business+ plans).

Do you have an API?

Yes. API access is available on Business and Business+ plans.

Can I invite team members?

Free: 1 user only
Business: Up to 5 users
Business+: Unlimited users

Account & Billing

How do I change my password?

Go to Settings → Profile → Change Password. You'll need your current password to set a new one.

How do I update my payment method?

Navigate to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods. Add or update your credit card details.

Where can I find my invoices?

Settings → Billing → Billing History. Download PDF invoices for any past payment.

What happens if I downgrade my plan?

Downgrade takes effect at next billing cycle. You'll retain access to paid features until then. Some data may be archived based on new plan limits.

Troubleshooting

I can't log in

  • Verify email and password are correct
  • Try password reset if forgotten
  • Check browser cookies are enabled
  • Clear cache and try again

No cost data showing

  • Wait 24-48 hours for initial sync
  • Check cloud account connection status
  • Verify billing is enabled in cloud provider
  • Try manual sync (Business+)

Cloud account won't connect

  • AWS: Check IAM role and OIDC configuration
  • GCP: Verify service account permissions and JSON key
